During the planning and design phases of Hermanus 169 on 10, the complete "guest experience" was top of the list in each and every decision taken. Paramount to this was the design dynamic surrounding the wheelchair accessibility of the villa.
Hermanus 169 on 10 prides itself on a total wheelchair accessibility policy with accessibility by way of:
- a wheelchair friendly bathroom
- an elevator
- kitchen planned to accommodate a wheelchair bound guest
Are available in bedrooms and the kitchen, for appliances which do not fit our standard electrical sockets.
All service and guide dogs on a flea program are welcome.
Other animals are allowed by prior arrangement only.
There is a fabulous outdoor BBQ in the garden downstairs as well as an indoor BBQ upstairs, next to the dining room.

From 14H00. Late arrivals (after 18H00) should make prior arrangements with management.

At 11H00. Arrangements for a late check-out can be made with management.
An elevator is available for use for guests with disabilities. Please make arrangements in advance with management for the use of this facility.

Remote controlled overhead fans are available for your convenience in each of the suites. Remotes are stored in bedside drawers.
Hairdryers are available for your personal use in all suites.
Wall mounted heating panels have been placed throughout Hermanus 169 on 10. Air conditioning is provided in the master bedroom in addition to the 2 living areas on the first floor. There are 2 slow combustion fireplaces in the communal living areas for cosy winter evenings at the fire.
Cleaning staff available on request, please request in advance.
You will be provided with 2 sets of keys and a remote control to open the gate and garage to get you in and out of the premises. Please ensure that keys are returned to management upon departure from Hermanus 169 on 10.
Please note that bed linen and towels are changed once a week by management.
There is a full laundry provided for your personal laundry on the lower level of the home with an industrial Speed Queen washer, tumble dryer and drying facilities. Iron and ironing board is provided for your convenience.
Alternatively, Hermanus has a few laundromats to choose from.
In the event of a power failure there are battery backup lights available in the kitchen, family room and games room and torches in each bedroom.
For dinner or lunch we will be happy to advise you on or book you into one of the many restaurants in the area.
There is a small built in safe in each room for the safe keeping of your valuables.
Is not permitted inside the house. Ashtrays are provided in designated areas outside.
No white towels are to be taken to the beach. You will find dedicated swimming towels with embroidered logos in a basket under the staircase.

A large 42" LCD TV with all the DSTV channels is at your disposal in the upper lounge area and separate DSTV viewing available on a 32" LCD in the lower communal lounge area.
Hermanus is a water scarce area. Please assist us in conserving our precious resource.
An H2O water filter has been installed in the main kitchen for your peace of mind.
The home is also equipped with a portable ice maker.
